Michael Schieber, Ph.D. - Chief
Scientist
Professor
Schieber has been Chief Scientist at Real-Time Radiography since its
establishment. Prof. Schieber is an internationally recognized expert
in the field of commercial development of advanced radiation
detectors. He holds the Nahman Jahler Chair of Applied Physics and is
a full professor of Materials Science at the Hebrew University of
Jerusalem, Israel, (HUJI). Since 1993, Prof. Schieber has served as
Senior Advisor for the large band gap semiconductor nuclear radiation
detector group at Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore,
California. Prof. Schieber holds 7 patents, 2 of which were for Mercuric Iodide and has presented over 80 technical publications in this field. |
