Real-Time Radiography has proven the feasibility of the polycrystalline Mercuric Iodide as the future material in direct conversion X-ray detector for medical imaging.

Real-Time Radiography is partnering with several large medical imaging manufacturers, selectively providing Mercuric Iodide coating services.  Several leading OEM manufacturers and academic institutions are currently evaluating the RTR coatings technology.

In addition to providing coating services, RTR is currently engaged in the development of a modular family of products to meet various market needs based on its unique coating and CMOS technologies. Three different products (described below) are in the development stage, thus enabling to address the specific main segments of the market.

·     A dynamic flat-panel detector capable of reaching a maximum acquisition rate of 120 fps.  This detector is targeted to address the requirements of peripheral angiography, Fluoroscopy and Radiography applications.

·    A dynamic detector with a smaller field-of-view and 120 fps data readout capabilities, targeted to the cardiac market.

·    A low-cost high-performance static detector, addressing static (radiographic) imaging.
